SERANG (Jurnalislam.com) – Various polemics appear as the khilafah system is discussed. many are apposed to this system of Islamic civilization and consider it irrelevant in modern times.
Dr. Alfian Tanjung rate, explained about those who reject this system are those who do not understand the essence and history of the caliphate system.
“Khilafah is sunnatullah (the way of the Prophet PBUH), those who refuse have little understanding of Islam and the history of Muslim civilization and Islamic guidance,” he told jurniscom at Al Muhajirin Mosque, Waringin, Serang, Monday (04/24/2017).
According to him, the rejection of the khilafah is due more to the lack of understanding of the pattern of Muslim struggle and the priority of Muslims in exposing Islam as a teaching.
“The Islamic Khilafah is a form of system that can unite Islam,” he explained. He states, if a Muslim has absolutely no pull to the system of khilafah, then they are an odd type of Muslim group.
“If Muslims have no ties to khilafah of the ummah then this is somewhat unique. Religious books, history sheets, and ask those who are proficient in this filed (khilafah) should be consulted “he concluded.
