JAKARTA (Jurnalislam.com) -The result of the survey by Indonesian Political Indicators shows that 43 percent of Indonesian people feel the fulfillment of basic needs is heavier than last year. Only 18 percent felt that the fulfillment of basic needs increasingly light.
Executive Director of Indonesia Political Indicator Burhanuddin Muhtadi said the most urgent issue related to the interests of the people everywhere is economic. On these issues, more people argue negatively, although the number of positive assessments increased compared to last year
“The fulfillment of basic needs, treatment, education, the number of unemployed, the number of poor people, employment, and general welfare are still not positive,” said Burhanuddin at the Office of Cikini V Indicators Jakarta on Wednesday (11/10).
As many as 50 percent of respondents say, unemployment problems more and more, and only 20 percent say less. As many as 42 percent of respondents also said the problem of poverty more and more, while 24 percent said more and less. In addition, 54 percent admitted increasingly difficult to find a job, and only 14 percent who said the easier.
Burhan noted, Jokowi’s performance is considered bad in reducing the number of poor people, providing jobs, reducing unemployment, and making the price of basic necessities affordable by the people in general.
Nevertheless, Burhan said, since the beginning of 2016 many public who assess the national economic condition improved. In general, the results of this survey indicate 43.3 percent of respondents feel the national economic condition is getting better than last year.
“Jokowi’s most progressive government work is in the field of infrastructure development, especially public roads, inter-provincial intercity roads outside Java, public transportation facilities, and toll road development outside of Java,” he said.
Burhan said, Jokowi’s efforts to make health services in health centers and hospitals more accessible, also appreciated. As many as 41 percent feel the fulfillment of the needs of treatment getting lighter, as well as the needs of education is felt increasingly light by 38 percent of the public.
Gerindra Party politician Nizar Zahro said the weakness of the Jokowi-JK government in the economic field has become a gap that can be used by Gerindra Party to win the hearts of beginner voters all over Indonesia. He said there was still two years for Gerindra Party to get ready and raise elektabilitas.
“This is still a lot of loopholes and there are still many that have not been fulfilled by the Jokowi-JK government, especially about employment, economic growth, poverty rate and also the level of basic food needs,” Nizar said.
